As a notary and lawyer Dr Eva Schwittek looks after and represents family-run companies and private individuals, in particular when it comes to succession planning, the drawing up of family constitutions and attending to matters involving real estate law. Within this field and concerning all her consultation work, Dr Eva Schwittek is keen on pursuing an innovative, mediation-driven approach. Her main areas of expertise are the classic notarial fields of corporate law, real estate law, inheritance and family law. In particular, she also attends to notarisations with reference to Japan. She also advises budding entrepreneurs and start-ups and helps them put their ideas into practice.
Since 2016 she has been practising as mediator and since 2019 she has been training others in mediation techniques. Whenever required she also conducts mediation sessions online, for example in international cases. Dr Eva Schwittek has lived in various countries and uses that experience as well as her competence in international private and civil procedure law to advise clients. Being fluent in English and Japanese she also assists clients in those languages.
