Henrik Steffen Becker is a lawyer specialising in the field of intellectual property rights. He has years of experience above all in competition law as well as in the field of non-technical property rights (trademarks). Here Henrik Steffen Becker advises internationally active companies from the food, drinks and tobacco industry as well as the healthcare, power supply, telecommunication and IT sectors. His work includes the setting up and administering of German, European and international trademark portfolios. In this field he represents clients in application, opposition and cancellation procedures at the German Patent and Trademark Office as well as the European Intellectual Property Office in the Internal Market. Henrik Steffen Becker also assists clients with the judicial and extrajudicial enforcement of and defence against claims. Furthermore, he supports and advises clients to ensure that their marketing measures and advertising campaigns comply with all legal regulations. Besides press law and freedom of speech regulations, Henrik Steffen Becker also offers legal advice on licensing rights, copyright law and telecommunications law.
