On the one hand, Dr Wolfgang Patzelt advises project developers and investors on the swift and legally correct implementation and organisation of building laws. While doing so, he looks after housing, commercial, and industrial projects as well as those covering the field of renewable energies, predominantly wind power and photovoltaics. On the other hand, he also represents local councils in fields associated with urban planning laws. In addition to his involvement in zoning plans, he concentrates on drafting town planning agreements concerning the development of building land, the creation of communal building land concepts and models meeting the housing needs of the local population as well as the development of new quarters or town districts, e.g. via urban planning development measures, using above all cooperative models. Dr Patzelt also represents councils and owners in connection with large-scale infrastructure projects (roads, rails, airports, waterway construction). Another special field that he focusses on is conservation and species protection law, protection laws covering water, soil and historic monuments, immission control laws as well as planning permission law including expropriation and compensation laws.
