We have developed an innovative, mediation-based approach that places the focus on the interests of the family. The method is quite successful, in part because each family member will be able to integrate his or her own needs into the family interests that have been established by the family itself. This promotes cohesion and widespread acceptance. Once the overarching value structure has been put into place by means of a legally binding charter, all other individual arrangements such as partnership agreements, prenuptial agreements, last will and testaments and the corporate structure can be brought into line with it.
