Benedikt Pöppel

Lecturer at Biberach University of Applied Sciences

Benedikt Pöppel specialises in public construction, planning and immission control law. He represents construction project developers, local authorities, planning associations and private individuals in the course of regional and urban land-use planning as well as in approval, objection and court proceedings. In these proceedings, he focusses on the project-related effects of noise and other immissions and develops solutions for conflict resolution. He also advises in connection with municipal and nature conservation pre-emption rights as well as the Real Estate Transactions Act with a focus on preventative contract design and legal disputes.

He also specialises in the field of renewable energies, in particular with regard to environmental and species protection aspects. Here, we provide comprehensive advice to project developers, investors and the public sector on planning, operation and transactions in the field of renewable energies, including the associated drafting of contracts. Ongoing advice in planning and authorisation procedures ensures an adequate risk assessment when acquiring new projects.
