Jens Magers specializes in corporate law, is the founder of the Sustainable Investment and Finance team and heads the Italian Desk. His main areas of expertise are M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions with a focus on impact investing. He has particular expertise in both national and cross-border transactions, co-operations and joint ventures with an industry focus on renewable energies, life sciences, information technologies, infrastructure-construction, real estate and fashion. He advises members of management and supervisory boards of listed and unlisted companies on corporate law and sustainability-related issues, such as corporate governance matters. Jens Magers publishes regularly in Italy with the publisher Giuffrè Lefebvre Verlag on German corporate law, in Germany on Italian insolvency and corporate law, and on ESG issues in stock corporation and corporate law. He is a lecturer in the Corporate Sustainable Finance post-graduate program at the EBS Executive School of the EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht gGmbH.
