Senior Counsel, certified specialist for employment law and mediator

Dr. Andreas Notz’s main practice area is the provision of comprehensive advice to employers on employment law and, above all on codetermination and collective bargaining law. In this field, he assists nationally and internationally active companies above all from the health sector, the energy supply industry, the ancillary building trade as well as the service and retail industry. Functioning as an out-sourced legal or personnel department, employment law specialist is available for everyday questions of employment law as well as for advising employers on all issues concerning German codetermination legislation, in particular where it concerns interest reconciliation and redundancy negotiations. In addition, Andreas Notz, as a mediator, also offers mediation-led advice as well as mediation as an alternative to industrial tribunal and conciliation procedures. Apart from other activities he also works as a lecturer of employment law at Heidelberg University, teaches at the Institut für Unternehmenssanierung und -entwicklung (Heidelberg), an organisation involved in company restructuring and development, and at FORUM, and lectures at numerous in-house training events.
